Sometimes you don’t need much for big results. Sometimes it only takes 10 minutes. And sometimes it’s so easy even a baby could do it.

Here are the results of a little A/B test we conducted last year. We managed to increase our landing page conversion rate from a good 19% to a great 39%. You can use what we learned to increase your own conversions — fast. These were very little quick fixes, they took less than 10 minutes to implement and to be honest we were quite surprised with the results.

The phone rang.

For the 5th time this morning. Again, the same unknown number. And again no voicemail was left. Maybe it was Kyle, we broke up two days ago. I don’t want to speak to him. But maybe it’s something urgent. I should pick up if it’s urgent. I usually never answer the phone unless I know who’s calling. No time for strangers. Still, I’m curious and a little worried.

Quality score factors?
History makes it go up!

Relevance holds it together, it has to be tight. Historical click-through-rate make it soar and landing page quality is the needle that can burst it in an instant. That’s the quick answer to the following question:

Quality Score Impact?

“What’s the value of improving the Quality Score by 1 point, 2 points, etc… Is it worth the effort? How can we tell?”

That’s one of the questions that were asked in the recent survey I sent and it’s one that came up often in different variations. To answer that question and understand the impact of higher Adwords Quality Scores, let me tell you a story…

Recently, I presented Tenscores to an audience of about 900 people — among which were investors (almost like the Dragon’s Den show, without the tv cameras). It was one of the most nerve-wrecking thing I ever did.

In that audience, was a man who spends over 2 million dollars on Adwords every year.
